Amy Impellizzeri

Amy Impellizzeri is a former corporate litigator, start-up executive, and award-winning author of fiction and non-fiction. Her debut novel, Lemongrass Hope (WyatMacKenzie Publishing 2014) was a 2014 INDIEFAB Book of the Year Bronze Winner and a National Indie Excellence Awards Finalist. A favorite with bloggers and book clubs, Lemongrass Hope was named the #1 reviewed book in 2014 by The Literary Connoisseur, and topped several bloggers’ “Best of” Lists in 2015. \n\nSecrets of Dolls, was in December 2016 by Wyatt-MacKenzie Publishing, and was featured as an Editor’s Pick by Foreword Reviews that month. Secrets of Wor Dolls was named an INDIEFAB Book of the Year Bronze Winner (Fiction-Multicultural) and a Finalist in the WFWA Star Awards fPublished Women’ Fiction. Reviewers have called it “brilliant” and “shocking.”\n\nAmy is also the author of the peer-reviewed nonfiction book, Lawyer Interrupted, published by the American Bar Association in 2015, and which has been featured by, among others: ABC27, The Huffington Post, TheAtlantic.com, and Law360. \n\nAmy is a frequent invited speaker at Lawyers in Transition Meetings, annual Bar conferences, and creative writing workshops across the country. She is a Past President of the Women’s Fiction Writers Association, an international community of 800+ writers. Amy is also a member of the Tall Poppy Writers, an innovative marketing co-op of award-winning, best-selling and acclaimed women writers. Amy is on the faculty of The Yocum Institute for Art Education in Wyomissing, Pennsylvania, where she runs the creative writing program for teens and adults. \n\nAmy can be found on any given day writing in her home atop a mountain in rural Pennsylvania drawing inspiration from her husband, three kids, an energetic Weimaraner named Cocoa, and a bottomless cup of coffee. \n\n
